Order processing and delivery

Orders from the online store are processed as soon as the fresh product is in stock. It is then distributed the same day. During the purchase process, the customer chooses between having the order shipped via Samskip, Pikkoló or picking up at a warehouse. Shipping costs are added to the order before payment is made and are according to the applicable carrier's price list. No shipping costs are added if an order is picked up. FoodCoop is not responsible for any damage that may occur to the product during transport. If a product is damaged from the time it is shipped from the warehouse until it reaches the recipient, the damage is the responsibility of the carrier.

Prices

Prices in the online store are published with the reservation of typos. If there is a mistake in the price listing of products in the online store that is of a nature that the customer can be aware of as a clear mistake, FoodCoop reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the customer without delay. Prices in the online store include 11% VAT.

Payment methods

The Food-Coop online store offers payments with debit and credit cards. Card transactions are processed through a secure payment page Rapyd. It is also possible to pay by bank transfer. If payment is made by bank transfer, the customer will receive payment information by email. The order is accepted as soon as the transfer has been completed and confirmation has been received from the buyer at the email address foodcoop@foodcoop.is.

Disputes

If a dispute arises between the seller and the buyer, the seller will endeavor to resolve the matter as diligently as possible. Otherwise, the seller advises the buyer to seek information from the Consumers' Association.
